On Sunday, June 24th, our congregation will join our fellow brothers and sisters at St. John’s Episcopal Church for worship and a picnic on their front lawn. Because the service will be conducted out on the lawn, folks might want to hear a hat, although, there will be some shade. The service is at 10:30 a.m. and the meal shall immediately follow. St. John’s will supply the meat, buns, and drinks. Each family of our congregation is asked to bring a salad or dessert to share. Members of our congregation are encouraged to park in our lot and stroll up Wick Avenue to St. John’s. For those individuals having difficulty walking, you may try to park at St. John’s or arrangements can be made to transport you to the church.
We need to know an approximate number of persons attending from our congregation so St. John’s can ensure enough food is prepared. If you plan to attend, please contact the church office either by phone (330-744-4307) or email JoEllen (JoEllen@fpcyo.org), no later than Monday, June 18th.
If you need transportation to St. John’s, please let us know that also.
